Okay so I’m baby steppin’ along. I am down .8 this week, which is a total of 26.1lbs since 10/19/07. I’m fairly pleased. I found out something interesting this past week… something that maybe I would have known if I’d read the instructions. *blush* On the WW website where I track my points there are 4 boxes. One that shows you how many points you have used for the day, one that shows you how many points are left for the day, one that shows how many extra points you have remaining for the week out of the 35 you are given, and one that shows you how many activity points you’ve earned for the week. Box #1 goes up as you add your food. Box #2 goes down as you add your food. Box #3 goes down as you exceed your daily points and draw from the extra 35. It made sense to me that box #4 would decrease as you used the points you earned, and so that is the way I was tracking my points and was always amazed that I never seemed to use the Activity points. Well I found out last week, after the week before being kinda rough on point tracking … that the Activity points can only be used on the day that you earn them and that they are used before your extra 35points are used…so my questions from there are #1 – so why doesn’t it TELL you when it’s using the points up front? And also why doesn’t it zero out each day? So I have no idea for how long I’ve been over eating my extra earned points, but going forward … I think I’ll be able to make better choices… that being said… I’m only 1.8bls away from my 10%…And David was actually pretty enthusiastic about helping me reach that this week. Of course the goober went right around and when we were grocery shopping got a bag of candy (large bag) that has laffy taffy and nerds and runts and something else in it I can’t remember. But luckily it isn’t’ chocolate… so it’s easy for me to ignore. I snag a Banana Laffy Taffy once or twice but he was actually impressed that I kept telling him no when he’d try to offer me some. And he OD’d on Saturday and got a bit of a headache and so I put the candy in a zip lock baggy on top of the fridge… he is moderating for himself a bit more now.
On the upside he’s doing very well and has been so very helpful this week. He’s got an interview with Delta Dental today and so we’re happy about that. We had a very nice Fast Sunday yesterday (the 2nd was Stake Conference) and enjoyed our meetings.
At work we’re having another round of pregnancies… it usually goes in three’s… so far we have 1 woman pregnant and so people are starting to try to “bet” in a nice way who will be next… there are a few people looking at me… and I’m not sure if that’s going to happen, but as we are making the necessary changes and working and improving anything can happen going forth with faith.
Dave did point out one thing that has always bothered him. I never bare my testimony. It’s not that I don’t have one but it’s that fear of speaking in front of a large group of people and fearing that I’m going to make a big dork out of myself. And so he did ask that I bare it next month, and so I will… which means we just have to be there on time. It’s kind of nice with how he’s starting to venture out in little ways to communicate more and it’s nice seeing the improvements. Well I’m at work so I’d better get moving before I get caught J.
Until next time… and hopefully a few pounds lighter J

I am glad there's more communication. That is always a good thing. Good job with the candy too. Moderation is also always a good thing. Keep it up. Love you tons. Rol
