Well... interesting that I'm like the more techno-nerd of the family but am the last to actually start a blog... I suppose it has something to do with the fact that I am lazy doing other things... but either way as I've found I can be quite intertaining monologuing....
Today I celebrated my 25lb loss with Weight Watchers. I was soooo sure that I was going to be hitting my 10% goal (28lbs) however upon weighing in we discovered that my home scale which is usually spot on with the scale at the meetings, there was an almost 7lb difference. I got home and tested my scale flippped a reset switch and viola... it was fixed.... on the up side... I did still lose almost 2lbs last week... just not the progress I had thought I had been making.... oh well... life goes on...
So... to further celebrate my 25lbs going bye bye I decided that it was time to buy a scale for weighing my food... such things that can't be measured by a cup are hard to determine ... such as meats... pastas... etc. So... I go to make dinner... shrimp scampy (um so totally NOT a low point food... fat actually is the cause cause of the butters and what not from the sauce... but we had to get rid of it) with angel hair pasta.... well i've never been very good at measureing and acutally never really have... so whether the 2oz on the bag for a serving mean dry pasta or mean cooked i'm kinda clueless cause the baggy didnt' say... so I weighed it after it was cooked.... and let me tell you... 2oz of cooked pasta is a whole lot less than I thought... or had been eye balling... a pound is easier to guestimate. I must say also that it gave me good cause to want to fill in the meal with other things like salad and veggi's. I haven't tried weighing my meat yet... now i'm afraid to :). Well... I'd better get going, got a few chores to do before I completely conk out.

Glad to see you've joined the crowd. Does this mean we are going to see more pictures of your kitties? Geddy will love that. Talk to you later. Love you Rah!
